Position Overview

QinetiQ US is seeking an experienced Graphics Software Developer to support the development of  3D modeling and game development in Unreal Engine or Unity software. This position will involve designing, developing, and testing of applications using 3D modeling simulation software for electro-optics/IR sensors and other Army applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, evaluate, and optimize various deep learning models for computer simulation and vision tasks
  • Design, develop, and distribute simulation code for memory efficiency and speed using various data structures, operations, and libraries
  • Test software deliveries, provide feedback, and recommend courses of action to reach project objectives
  • Ensure software documentation accuracy to improve user adoption, save support time and costs, and allow for easier maintenance
  • Prepare, revise, and present technical information on a weekly basis to project team and agency partners
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of developers, engineers, and statisticians using git-based code hosting and collaboration tools

Required Qualifications

  • Five-seven (5-7) years’ experience developing software in C++, C, C#, Python, Java, Linux, for actual programs/projects (i.e., not academic)
  • Experience/expertise in designing, developing, and testing Python software programs
  • Experience with 3D modeling and game development (Unity or Unreal Engine)
  • Create, refine and adhere to formal software development processes
  • Develop software documentation, including user manuals and release notes
  • B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Graphics or Game Design, or applicable engineering or science field
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
