QinetiQ US seeks a motivated Management Consultant. This individual will be responsible for supporting a fast-paced client while working collaboratively with a small team to achieve organizational goals. This role will support a range of acquisition and financial management processes. The primary workstreams include process improvement, requirements documentation, risk management, and dashboard development.

Responsibilities

  • Anticipate client needs, and plan accordingly to deconflict and manage project priorities.
  • Identify, plan, recommend and implement internal strategic plans that meet the goals of executive leadership.
  • Identify, plan, recommend, and implement solutions that improve efficiencies for internal processes.
  • Document and assess organizational requirements against existing policies and guidance.
  • Use tools, best practices and lessons learned to implement risk management strategies.
  • Work independently on special projects that address key mission support programs and processes.
  • Work with data and data visualization tools to relay succinct findings, trends, and recommendations.
  • Adapt and work in a fluid and dynamic environment with an eye for capturing short- and long-term goals.
  • Manage and report project progress on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to the client as appropriate.

Required Qualifications

  • Work collaboratively in support of a positive team environment.
  • Demonstrate mastery of federal acquisition regulations.
  • Experience documenting requirements, developing program performance dashboards and establishing risk management plans.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with an attention to detail.
  • A strong focus on solving problems, executing sound judgement, and achieving results.
  • A Bachelor’s degree with three to eight years of experience in federal acquisition management or federal risk management.
  • Ability to maintain a security clearance from the U.S. government.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience setting and managing federal client relationships and expectations.
  • Demonstrate previous experience effectively and positively communicating with diverse team, client, and organizational stakeholders.
  • Ability to set priorities, plan, and organize tasks and deliverables as needs evolve.
  • Project Management certification(s) or demonstrated experience using project management best practices.
