Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Process Analyst to evaluate and improve how work moves through a large task-management environment at the National Guard Bureau (NGB). This role documents workflows, identifies process gaps, and recommends improvements to keep tasking efficient as volume and requirements evolve.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze workflows and task-management system interfaces to identify inefficiencies and recommend process controls and business rules
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, business rules, and data-collection methodologies to standardize recurring processes
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert supporting development and revision of formal SOP and business-rules documents, including leading or supporting related working groups
  • Provide procedural guidance to staff on meeting deadlines and facilitate recurring coordination meetings on system and process improvements
  • Perform quality-control review of requests and approvals against established leadership controls
  • Maintain continuity standards and business rules so processes remain consistent and trainable through staff turnover
  • Build and maintain electronic recordkeeping functionality for the agency’s tasking/records system, including managing regular backups
  • Maintain electronic data and records in compliance with applicable records-management regulations, and manage email records and associated metadata
  • Provide archiving and data-management guidance to leadership, and maintain a knowledge library of best practices, lessons learned, and performance benchmarks
  • Manage and improve collaboration-site content and support knowledge-management capabilities
  • Track, analyze, and summarize legislative, hearing, and audit activity, providing impact summaries to inform senior leadership decisions
  • Research and develop proposed solutions and alternatives for sensitive or complex organizational issues, including original research where no established precedent exists
  • Consolidate recurring status reports, task trackers, and key initiative updates for distribution across the organization

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance; #qinetiqclearedjob
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in workflow analysis, business process improvement, organizational assessments, knowledge management, performance measurement, and operational effectiveness
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (minimum)
  • ACKMP certification
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration/Management, Public Administration, Information Science, or Management
  • Experience interfacing with senior military and civilian officials, including familiarity with protocol

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $95,000USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
