Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Process Analyst to manage recordkeeping systems and information governance for offices within the National Guard Bureau (NGB). This role maintains SharePoint sites and repositories, keeps records practices aligned with federal recordkeeping standards, and helps ensure information stays organized, retrievable, and properly retained. Good fit for someone detail-oriented who likes building order out of large volumes of documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain multiple collaboration/SharePoint sites, including site structure, page content, and access permissions
  • Maintain an archive of signed delegation-of-authority records and similar governance documentation on a collaboration site
  • Maintain rosters and reference materials (e.g., workflow-manager contact lists) published to a collaboration site, updating them on a recurring and as-needed basis
  • Assist in updating official issuances, manuals, and standard operating procedures hosted on a collaboration site
  • Develop and maintain SOPs and data-collection methodologies that ensure repeatable, auditable recordkeeping practices
  • Continuously assess systems and processes, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and recommend improvements in coordination with stakeholders
  • Maintain electronic recordkeeping practices in line with applicable federal records-management standards, including identification, retrieval, and safeguarding of official records
  • Build and maintain electronic recordkeeping functionality for the agency’s tasking/records system, including capturing records into an archiving application and managing regular backups
  • Maintain inventories and file plans supporting retrieval of official records, and provide archiving/data-management guidance to senior leadership
  • Manage email records and associated metadata through an electronic recordkeeping system
  • Maintain a knowledge library of best practices, lessons learned, and performance benchmarks for distribution to stakeholders
  • Monitor and triage tasks across multiple workflow-tracking tools, transferring items between systems as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance; #qinetiqclearedjob
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience supporting SharePoint administration, records management, archives, information governance, document repositories, and knowledge management programs
  • Ability to analyze organizational information problems and recommend system/process controls
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in detailed requirements analysis, process documentation, and user acceptance testing
  • Ability to analyze complex technical/organizational systems and present findings clearly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Certified Records Manager (CRM) or Certified Records Analyst (CRA) certification
  • Microsoft SharePoint certification
  • Degree in Business Administration/Management, Public Administration, Information Science, or Management
  • Experience interfacing with senior military and civilian officials, including familiarity with protocol
  • Ability to maintain or redesign systems, tasking platforms, and process controls, and write/update procedures

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $95,000USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
