Position Overview

QinetiQ US is seeking a Management Analyst to manage the lifecycle of official policy issuances at the National Guard Bureau (NGB), from drafting through periodic review and retirement. This role tracks compliance, coordinates staffing of new and revised policy, and helps ensure the organization's policy library stays current and well-governed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of official policy issuances from initial staffing through approval, including annual and multi-year compliance reviews
  • Create and track review tasks for issuances requiring periodic revalidation, monitoring progress through completion
  • Review issuances prior to final approval to confirm staffing and procedural requirements have been satisfied
  • Consolidate and reconcile feedback from multiple stakeholders on proposed policy revisions, coordinating conflicting input and proposing resolutions for leadership approval
  • Maintain a current inventory of policy issuances, flagging those falling out of compliance with review requirements
  • Produce recurring status reports on the state of the issuance program, including staffing progress and upcoming deadlines
  • Conduct an annual analytical review of the issuance program to identify process gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities
  • Maintain standard operating procedures governing the policy-staffing process, and develop continuity documentation and reference materials to standardize recurring practices
  • Deliver recurring training on policy and issuance procedures, incorporating feedback and lessons learned from participants
  • Provide procedural guidance to staff on properly staffing an action to meet established deadlines, and facilitate recurring coordination meetings on process improvements
  • Support delivery of a recurring staff training course, including preparation of training materials, registration resources, and post-training reference aids
  • Participate in policy-development working groups, providing subject-matter expertise on issuance and policy programs

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance; #qinetiqclearedjob
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience supporting executive-level operations, policy management, staff actions, governance activities, workflow/tasking systems, training development, and organizational compliance programs
  • Experience in research and task process analysis/oversight, demonstrated by positions held in project or data analysis career fields
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to analyze complex technical issues and present them clearly and concisely

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a headquarters-level or joint-staff organization
  • Confidence briefing senior leadership
  • Knowledge of or experience using electronic task-management systems

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $77,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
