Position Overview

QinetiQ US is looking for an Employee Experience & Engagement Coordinator. This role will support the development and execution of programs that strengthen our culture, elevate the employee experience, and enhance internal communication across the organization. Reporting to the People Engagement & Communications Manager, this role plays a key part in implementing engagement initiatives, coordinating events, supporting wellness and recognition programs, and helping drive meaningful connection among employees. This position sits within Human Resources and collaborates closely with the executive leadership team, employees, and cross-functional partners to bring our culture and values to life.

Responsibilities

Employee Experience & Engagement

  • Assist with the planning and execution of engagement initiatives that foster connection, belonging, and high performance.
  • Support employee feedback cycles, including pulse surveys, action planning, and tracking progress of engagement commitments.
  • Help champion culture-building initiatives across the organization.

Internal Communications

  • Draft and edit internal communications including announcements, newsletters, meeting recaps, and HR updates.
  • Maintain communication calendars and ensure consistent messaging across platforms.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure employees have timely, clear, and engaging information.

Programs & Events 

  • Coordinate company-wide events such as appreciation events, learning sessions, employee onboarding touchpoints, and culture-driven activities.
  • Help manage logistics, vendor coordination, materials, and day-of execution for HR-led programs.

Wellness & Recognition

  • Support wellness initiatives related to mental health, well-being, and work-life experience.
  • Assist with employee recognition programming, including celebrations, milestones, and gratitude campaigns.

HR Initiatives & Support

  • Serve as a culture ambassador and support the rollout of HR initiatives across the organization.
  • Maintain organized documentation, trackers, and engagement-related reporting.
  • Provide administrative and project coordination support as needed

Required Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelors in Human Resources, Communications, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
  • 3–4 years of experience in employee engagement, internal communications, HR, organizational development, or a related people-focused function.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor tone and message for multiple audiences.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for employee experience and creating moments that matter.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple programs, events, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and partnering with diverse teams.
  • Experience with engagement surveys, feedback tools, and/or drafting internal communications is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, communication tools, and modern workplace platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fast-paced or growing organizations preferred. GovCon experience a plus but not required.
