The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Costpoint system administration, SaaS applications, and the compliance standards and reporting requirements relevant to federal contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary administrator for Deltek Costpoint, including system configuration, user access management, workflow updates, and integration maintenance.
  • Act as a liaison between IT, Finance, HR, and other business units to support cross-functional system requirements and enhancements.
  • Support and optimize Costpoint modules including Projects, Financials, Time & Expense, Procurement, and Planning.
  • Manage and maintain integrations between Costpoint and other SaaS tools (e.g., payroll, talent systems, procurement platforms).
  • Ensure system security and compliance with DFARS, NIST, and other federal contracting standards.
  • Coordinate and support system upgrades, testing, validation, and post-deployment monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working with vendors or internal teams as needed.
  • Develop and maintain user guides, documentation, and training materials for end users and stakeholders.
  • Monitor system performance, conduct audits, and support data integrity and reporting accuracy.
  • Stay current with updates in Costpoint capabilities, SaaS architecture, and federal IT compliance regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5+ years of experience administering Deltek Costpoint, preferably in a federal contractor environment.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS architecture, integrations, and system security.
  • Proven experience working in or closely with IT and Finance/Accounting functions.
  • Familiarity with government contracting regulations (FAR/DFARS, DCAA compliance).
  • Experience with user access controls, role permissions, and workflow configurations.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Create and maintain complex business intelligence reports, COGNOS, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Costpoint 8.x or later.
  • Exposure to or experience with Deltek T&E, Cognos, IBM Reporting, or BI tools.
  • Project management experience related to ERP or SaaS implementations/integrations.
