Position Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Training Manager to support Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations in Europe. This role requires expertise in developing, coordinating, and implementing training programs for international partners to ensure proficiency in ISR systems and processes. The position will involve collaboration with various stakeholders, including U.S. government agencies, foreign military entities, and contractors.

Responsibilities

Training Program Development: Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training plans for foreign military personnel in support of ISR operations

  • Curriculum Management: Create and maintain training curricula, course materials, manuals, and presentations to ensure accurate, up-to-date, and effective training delivery.
  • Training Delivery: Conduct classroom instruction, hands-on training, and simulation-based learning for ISR systems, platforms, and related technologies.
  • Assessment & Evaluation: Develop assessment tools to evaluate trainee performance, identify knowledge gaps, and ensure training objectives are met. Provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure training programs adhere to applicable U.S. government regulations, including International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
  • Coordination & Collaboration: Work closely with U.S. government agencies, contractors, foreign military representatives, and other stakeholders to coordinate training schedules, resources, and logistics.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed training records and prepare reports summarizing training activities, progress, and outcomes for stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance training methodologies, materials, and delivery mechanisms to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Travel: Travel to various locations in Europe to provide on-site training and support as required.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training & Development, Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of [10] years of experience in training development and delivery, preferably supporting ISR programs.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with U.S. government regulations, ISR platforms, and systems.
  • Skills: Strong instructional design, presentation, and communication skills. Proficiency in developing training materials using various software tools.
  • Security Clearance: SECRET or higher security clearance
  • Other Requirements: Ability to travel throughout Europe as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with foreign military personnel or international partners.
  • Certification in instructional design or training program management (e.g., ATD Certified Professional in Learning and Performance - CPLP).
  • Experience with ISR operations, systems, and technologies.
