Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager. The Quality Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance and control programs to ensure compliance with contract requirements, military standards, and international regulations. This role requires expertise in quality management, process improvement, and regulatory compliance within an international defense environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) programs to ensure compliance with U.S. Army and host-nation standards.
  • Manage a small Quality Management team; assign work, monitor performance, set performance goals, develop talent.
  • Establish and maintain inspection, testing, and verification processes for materials, equipment, and services.
  • Conduct audits, assessments, and root cause analysis to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, military specifications, and other relevant quality standards.
  • Collaborate with program management, procurement, and subcontractors to uphold quality requirements.
  • Train and mentor personnel on quality policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, reports, and compliance records.
  • Work closely with U.S. Army officials, contractors, and suppliers to ensure continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Support contract deliverables by maintaining quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Address and resolve quality-related issues and non-conformance reports (NCRs).

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in quality management, quality assurance, or quality control within government contracting or defense programs.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and military quality standards.
  • Experience conducting quality audits, risk assessments, and corrective action plans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and quality management systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multinational environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • SECRET or higher security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracts and defense programs.
  • Familiarity with host-nation regulations and international quality standards.
  • Background in aerospace, defense, or international contracting.
