QinetiQ US is looking for a Senior Financial Manager with an active TS/SCI clearance to support our client in Falls Church, VA. The Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E))'s Joint Capability Technology Demonstration (JCTD) program conducts prototype demonstrations to address the Joint warfighting needs of the Combatant Commands (CCMD) within two to three years of that need's identification. The Senior Financial Manager serves as the senior finance and budget expert, supporting preparation of funding documentation; reporting, analyzing, and interpreting financial performance data; and preparing reports of status and findings. Performs program budget monitoring, budget preparation, and initiates funding transfer actions. Tracks funding commitments, transfers, acceptance, obligations, and expenditures across the JCTD Office’s projects, portfolios, and other relevant activities. Works with the team to strategically communicate the office’s budget and fiscal outlook across the Future Years Defense Plan (FYDP) and necessary budget trade-offs; maintains cognizance of various program funds; provides oversight and coordination of inputs for recurring monthly budget execution meetings; coordinates with senior-level offices related to budget/financial taskers and data calls.
