Position Overview

QinetiQ seeks an Administrative Assistant to support a $500M-$1B program. The successful candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the program office, handling travel, meetings, reports, and filing systems. Strong communication and organizational skills, along with proficiency in MS Office, are essential. Prior experience in administrative roles, especially in Defense programs, is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage phone calls, schedules, and appointments.
  • Plan meetings, take minutes, and prepare correspondence.
  • Assist with reports and maintain filing systems.
  • Book travel, submit expense reports, and order office supplies.
  • Serve as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
  • Coordinate with senior assistants to address management requests.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Administrative or Office Assistant.
  • Familiarity with office management systems and equipment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • High school degree required; additional qualifications are a plus.
