QinetiQ US is seeking an Operations Director to oversee systems operations, training, deployment, and maintenance management for aerostat systems providing persistent surveillance and detection capabilities to the U.S. Government customer across multiple operational sites along the US Southern border. The successful candidate will serve as the overall site manager for the portfolio of operational and mission test sites that are geographically dispersed along the U.S. border and have direct aerostat experience as a current or previous site manager. They will work with the multiple individual on-site managers to coordinate all aspects of site operations. They will report to the Program Director for long term planning of site activities, and with the on-site personnel for daily execution. They must be willing to travel to individual sites as needed. This position will be part of our National Global Security Solutions Business Unit and directly support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Air and Marine Office (AMO)
