FRLE is looking for a Sr Technical Security and Signals Countermeasures (TSSC) Practitioner to planning and execute Technical Counterintelligence (TC) missions in support of the nations toughest missions. You will also collaborate with the staff, DoD enterprise, servicing law enforcement agencies, and provide CI support to cybersecurity.
• Conduct activities IAW DoDI 5240.05, command policies and standard operating procedures governing the employment of tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Update and maintain a database for comparative analysis.
• Support short notice and planned full and limited scope surveys for a variety of programs domestically and globally.
• Detect and analyze infrastructure items of interest.
• Collaborate with the staff, DoD enterprise, servicing law enforcement agencies, and provide CI support to cybersecurity.
• Provide advice and assistance to Client requirements management process and evaluate items of interest.
• Recommend countermeasures to mitigate hazards and vulnerabilities and log them into an incident tracker.
• Prepare technical risk assessment products, surveys, after action reports, tailored briefings, and other administrative documentation necessary to support the mission.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging technical threats and capabilities and produce quarterly information papers.
• Complete 80 hours of discipline-specific development and/or refresher training annually.
• Maintain records, Standard Operating Procedures, living continuity book including login accesses, and other pertinent administrative data.
• Evaluate current, new and future mission equipment and produce information papers on the functionality, limitations and step-by-step executability of all readily available equipment.
Graduate of Department of Defense or Federal Counterintelligence/Law Enforcement Badge & Credentialing School
Graduate of the TSSC Fundamental Course, Inter-Agency Training Center, Fort Washington, Maryland, and be certified to conduct TSCM
Must possess and maintain Information Assurance Technician Level II certification IA W DoDI 8140.01, Cyberspace Workforce Management and DoDM 8570.01, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program
Must gain network traffic analysis training utilizing PCAP data and analysis tools, (i.e., Wireshark, Network Miner, etc.) within 1 year of employment
10 years of TSSC experience performing each of the following: Advice & Assistance, Executive Travel Support, Penetration Investigations, In-Conference Monitoring, Technical Threat Briefs, and countermeasures recommendations
10 years' experience with the installation, analysis, and operation of semi-automated receivers, antenna port switchers, small networks, direction-finding tools, and software as they relate to TSSC missions and operations
5 years experience as Program Manager/Task Lead within the last 10 years
Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. Passport
Must possesshearing 30 decibels or better in both ears in the 500, l 000, and 2000 Hz ranges
Vision must be correctable to 20/20, distant and near, through normal vision or corrective measures
Must possess normal color vision
Must possess dexterity in all extremities
Must be able to lift fifty pounds and carry for fifty feet
Must be able to climb a six-foot ladder
Must be able to crawl beneath a three-foot barrier
