Position Overview

QinetiQ US is looking to hire an experienced PC Technican Level II to support the C5ISR customers at our Fort Belvoir, VA customer site.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, troubleshoot, and monitor the functioning of government computers and server systems
  • Perform troubleshooting for hardware issues of desktop/laptop users, network printers, Ethernet, Wi-Fi connections and computers administration.
  • Escalate issues which are unresolved, aid other teams in supporting different operating systems, besides Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN)
  • Respond to phone calls, messages and e-mails relating to system issues or hardware problems.
  • Installs, maintains, and upgrades hardware and software of an entire organization’s computer systems.
  • Supports servers and networking equipment
  • Familiar with IP protocols, such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN and Active Directory
  • Escalate problems by following proper policies and procedures; documenting records of problems and their troubleshooting precisely and punctually.
  • Set-up/install systems for new employees.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree or technical training in an Information Technology related field or information systems support with 2-4 years of directly related experience.
  • Must meet DoD 8570, 8570.01-M, and AR 25-2 training and certification requirements: Windows 10 or A+ and/or Security+/A+.
  • Must have an active DOD Secret clearance
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must have an active Driver’s license.
