We are recruiting for an Elasticsearch Administrator for an exciting, growing mission! The qualified candidate will maintain, evolve, and optimize our Elasticsearch capabilities, to include both current and future deployments.

• Support large, enterprise footprint deployments of Elasticsearch in a fast-paced, mission environment
• Provide full troubleshooting support to Elasticsearch deployments as needed, to include the system and software levels
• Configure, maintain, and optimize Elasticsearch environments
• Support the architecture, design, and deployment of new Elasticsearch clusters or capabilities as needed
• Optimize Elasticsearch capabilities and work with other team members to ensure the highest possible level of data/search parity
• Create, review, and maintain information technology documentation, particularly related to Elasticsearch capabilities and requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required #qinetiqclearedjob
• Strong Linux administration experience, including configuring and maintaining Linux servers
• Strong scripting experience
• Demonstrated experience with automated management and deployment systems, ideally Ansible
• Experience with Elasticsearch in a large and complex environment

• Experience with the design, implementation, and management of large Elasticsearch clusters
• Experience interfacing Hadoop with Elasticsearch
• Experience interfacing RDBMS implementations with Elasticsearch
• Experience supporting multiple simultaneous development implementations with Elasticsearch
• Experience performing Elasticsearch diagnostics and performance tuning
