Position Overview

We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer who will be responsible for designing and maintaining secure network infrastructure. 

Responsibilities

  • Tool Development and Customization.
  • Vulnerability Research and Exploitation.
  • Simulation and Testing.
  • Operational Support.
  • Collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required #qinetiqclearedjob
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in offensive cybersecurity or related fields, with proven experience in developing and deploying offensive cyber tools.
  • Experience in ethical hacking, penetration testing, and vulnerability research.
  • Expertise in programming and scripting languages such as Python, C++, Java, and Bash.
  • Deep understanding of network protocols, cryptography, and both operating system and application-level security vulnerabilities. 
  • Strong analytical abilities are essential for effectively identifying vulnerabilities and developing exploitation strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degrees or specialized training in areas like network security or ethical hacking are preferred.
  • Certifications such as Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or Advanced Penetration Tester (APT).
